Dear Incoming Third Grader,

Here is a list of supplies needed for third grade.  These are supplies required by all teachers.  Please try to have all supplies by the first day of school.  Remember to use a Sharpie to label all belongings with your name.  Please make every effort to adhere to the color code system below to make for an easier transition into third grade.  Organization is a big part of being successful!

·       6 hardcover, marble, composition notebooks  (green, blue, red, yellow, purple and a marble or design)

·       2 sturdy folders (1 design folder-take home, 1 design folder-leave blank)

·       6 pocket folders: one of each color (red, blue, yellow, green, orange & purple)

·       24 sharpened #2 pencils

·       4 Pens

·       1 pencil sharpener

·       1 eraser

·       24 pack of crayons

·       1 pack of colored pencils

·       1 box of washable markers (fine tip)

·       2 glue sticks

·       1 glue bottle

·       1 pair of scissors

·       2 highlighter markers

·       2 black Sharpie markers (1 fine point, 1 extra fine point)

·       1 zippered supply pouch to store all supplies (no boxes please)

·       1 pack of 100 (3x5) index cards (lined)

·       1 package of Post-its (3x3)

·       1 box of baby wipes

·       1 set of multiplication flashcards

·       4 Tennis balls (please cut a slit or “X” into each one so that they will fit on the bottom of your child’s chair)
