Dear Incoming First Grader,

Welcome to first grade!  We hope you will have a wonderful summer.  We thought it would be helpful to let you know what supplies you will need for first grade:

·       4 marble notebooks

·       Pack of washable non-toxic markers

·       24 sharpened pencils & a pencil sharpener

·       Scissors

·       Large pink eraser

·       1 box baby wipes

(no sanitizing wipes please)

·       3 pocket-folders (1 red, 1 yellow, & 1 blue)

·       1 - 8 color set of watercolor paints

·       1 pocket folder with fasteners

·       1 - 4 pack of non-toxic highlighters

·       Box for supplies (to fit inside desk)

·       1 pack of colored pencils

·       Elmer’s glue and glue sticks

·       1 box of blue or black pens

·       16-24 pack of non-toxic crayons

·       Clipboard

PLEASE PROVIDE A BACKPACK FOR YOUR CHILD AND LABEL ALL SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING

For Spanish

1 marble notebook (pick a color to make it easier to identify the Spanish notebook--maybe red)

1 red pocket folder

If any of these items are a problem, please let your teacher know.  Please send in all supplies during the first week of school.  We look forward to meeting you in September!
